Job purpose :

The Ansible Automation Platform DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions using Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of automation best practices and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Ansible and a strong background in DevOps practices.

Key activities

• The Ansible Automation Platform DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions using Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform.
• Leverage Ansible Automation Platform features, to manage and scale automation workflows across multiple environments.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, collections and modules to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and configuration management.
• Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as GitLab CI, or TeamCity
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security protocols and compliance requirements into deployment processes.
• Ensure consistent and reproducible deployments by managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Ansible.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure to quickly identify and resolve issues, to ensure system stabilization, high availability and adequate performance.
• Continuously assessing and improving automation processes, adopting best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and ensure compliance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in DevOps and infrastructure automation to provide innovative solutions.
