Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement

API and UI automation tests

to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Propose, create, and maintain procedures that identify defects, ensuring minimal discrepancy between specified and implemented functions.

Execute

functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

in SIT and UAT environments.

Develop and maintain

test specifications, test cases, and sets of regression tests

for new and enhanced software releases.

Perform

manual testing

where required and ensure complete coverage of acceptance criteria.

Write, execute, and maintain

automated test scripts

for validating software coding standards, design conventions, and architectural requirements.

Analyze

user stories, use cases, and requirements

to derive test plans and technical feasibility of proposed automation solutions.

Build and manage

collections of test data

to support manual and automated testing.

Report, track, and analyze defects using

Jira

(or equivalent tools), ensuring quick resolution and quality improvement.

Support, maintain, and troubleshoot

test automation infrastructure

and ensure continuous improvements.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers during

Agile ceremonies

and team meetings to align on deliverables.

Ensure

CI / CD pipeline integration

for test execution (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Communicate issues, solutions, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, enabling faster decision-making and delivery.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in

test automation frameworks and scripting

using tools such as

Selenium, Katalon, Cypress , or equivalent.

Proficiency in

functional, integration, and regression testing

methodologies.

Experience with

test management tools

(e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr) and

defect lifecycle management .

Familiarity with

CI / CD pipelines

and automation integration using

Jenkins or equivalent .

Solid understanding of

Agile / Scrum methodologies

and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills to articulate findings, solutions, and recommendations to stakeholders.
