We are looking for 1 Senior Purchaser and 1 Assistant Planner to support 2 department in our client's manufacturing plant in Kawasan Perindustrian, Senai.
Job Task and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's supply chain requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices, delivery terms and quality
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Conduct regular analysis of purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchasing activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and procedures
Requirement :
Welcome Fresh Graduate to Apply, OR Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or planning role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industriesStrong negotiation and procurement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationshipsProficient in data analysis and inventory management, with a keen eye for detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Sage, Epicor, SAP S / 4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365)Possess a diploma or degree in related field
