Civil Engineer

Prepare civil and structural designs, drawings, and calculations for infrastructure and building works.

Participate in feasibility studies, cost estimation, and tender documentation.

Ensure designs comply with local authority guidelines, Malaysian Standards (MS), and Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL).

2. Project Management & Coordination

Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Monitor project progress, track milestones, and highlight risks to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities

3. Construction Supervision

Conduct regular site inspections and resolve engineering or technical issues.

Oversee subcontractors’ and suppliers’ performance to meet contractual obligations.

Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards (DOSH, CIDB, EIA).

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Implement Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) procedures on site.

Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and method statements.

Ensure compliance with CIDB regulations, project permits, and statutory requirements under the National Land Code and Town & Country Planning Act.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Possess at least 3 years of experience in civil engineering

Previous experience in facilities management, construction, or civil engineering is preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other structural design software

Strong knowledge of UBBL, JKR specifications, and local authority requirements.

Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, knowledge of building codes and standards.
