Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The successful candidate will assist in financial closing, regulatory reporting, GST / VAT reporting and Finance projects for BHSI Branches in Asia Middle East.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Schedules
• Assist in preparing financial statements
• Prepare regulatory returns and ensure compliance to regulatory timelines
• Assist in GST and VAT reporting
• Assist in Finance projects
• Work closely with other teams within the organization to achieve business goals
