Overview
The Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the solar power plant to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable energy generation. This role involves routine inspections, equipment monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and assisting in maintenance activities, while complying with operational procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety regulation and plant policies.
- Monitor plant performance and equipment status via SCADA and field inspections.
- Operate plant equipment according to SOPs and instructions from supervisor.
- Record operational data, including energy output, weather conditions, and equipment parameters.
- Assist in starting up, shutting down, and isolating equipment as required.
- Report any abnormalities or faults to the supervisor immediately.
- Submitting raw data of weekly operations to supervisor.
Maintenance & Support
Assist in conducting periodic preventive maintenance and corrective works.Conduct basic cleaning and upkeep of equipment areas.Perform troubleshooting under guidance of supervisor.Qualifications, Experiences, Skills, Competencies and other Requirements
Minimum : Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field.Preferred : Higher qualification in technical or engineering discipline.Basic Safety and First Aid certification (advantage).Chargeman LV certificate (advantage).1–2 years’ experience in plant operations, preferably in power generation or renewable energy.Familiarity with SCADA monitoring and basic troubleshooting.Good communication skills for reporting and teamwork.Ability to follow SOPs accurately.Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.Understanding of safety procedures in plant environments.Based at plant site; exposure to outdoor weather and operational noise.May require working in shifts, on weekends and public holidays.PPE required during all operational activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
