Solar Plant Operator

Overview

The Operator is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the solar power plant to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable energy generation. This role involves routine inspections, equipment monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and assisting in maintenance activities, while complying with operational procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety regulation and plant policies.
• Monitor plant performance and equipment status via SCADA and field inspections.
• Operate plant equipment according to SOPs and instructions from supervisor.
• Record operational data, including energy output, weather conditions, and equipment parameters.
• Assist in starting up, shutting down, and isolating equipment as required.
• Report any abnormalities or faults to the supervisor immediately.
• Submitting raw data of weekly operations to supervisor.
