Senior Engineer Customer Quality including Complaint Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform the role of customer complaint management and ensure 8D methodology is applied while handling report generations for customers.
  • Develop corresponding problem verifications and define the necessary analysis steps, supporting colleagues at global production sites with problem-solving.
  • Perform in-depth electrical failure analysis, data collection, and data analysis to support the customer complaint Failure Analysis Request (FAR).
  • Perform in-depth electrical failure analysis of rejects to support improvement activities for front end, back end, silicon foundry, OSAT, and product line.
  • Work closely with Customer Interface, Design, Product, Package, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations on investigations of customer quality related issues and develop and implement test-related corrective actions.
  • Present innovative ideas, concepts, data, and plans with high confidence in team meetings and executive review meetings.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience and associated technical understanding.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Quality or Complaint Management.
  • Good critical thinking and systematic problem‑solving skills (e.g., DOE, 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, 5‑Why, Fish Bone, IS‑IS).
  • Excellent communication and mediation skills, and intercultural competence to manage stakeholders worldwide.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl is an added advantage.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good written and verbal presentation skills in English.
