• To verify and authorize remittance transactions (MEPS, TT, IFT, Demand Draft, CO / Corporate Cheque etc) within stipulated approved limits.
• Comply with exceptions for callback, signature verification and payment processing in which respective roles need to be performed independently. Liaise with customers / branches / business units on any discrepancy / doubt in instructions until resolution.
• Work with the team to meet SLA at all times.
• Ensure quick action / resolution for internal and external customers’ queries, feedback, and complaints.
• Monitor system availability and escalates promptly to management whenever required to ensure payment service timelines are not impacted.
• Participate in UAT / Projects as and when required.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Preferably at least 1 to 2 years of knowledge and experience in processing / transacting remittances like TT, MEPS, drafts etc.
• Conversant in SWIFT knowledge and provisions, regulations and other guidelines governing remittances.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications – Word, Excel & Power‑point.
• Possesses good oral / communication and coordination skills; and able to interact well with team members and business units / bankers / customers.
• Resourceful and able to multi‑task independently with confidence in time‑critical environment.
• A self‑motivated & proactive person managing operational efficiency and promoting process improvements.
• A risk‑conscious person who ensures internal controls and procedures are complied with closely.
• A meticulous and accurate person with an eye for detail.
• A confident, diplomatic, and tactful person in problem resolution and decision making.
• A passionate person with a customer‑oriented mindset and firm believer of Quality discipline.
