Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Designing and managing firewall management tools like Forti Manager and Panorama Configuring BGP, OSPF, IPSEC site to site VPN, DMPVN, VoIP, HSRP, Nat, Wireless technologies, and Service Policies Monitoring tools including Wireshark, Datadog and Logic Monitor Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution. Utilizing traditional and creative methods to develop enterprise data, voice, and video networks. Managing secure transfer of data to multiple locations by way of internal and external networks Consistent documentation skills using Visio to detail all facets of the network and its remote locations. Working on daily tickets using our Jira ticketing system Work On-call rotation Other duties as assigned

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Hands on and deployment experience on NGFW Devices like FortiGate, Palo Alto’s and Cisco.
  • Communication, presentation, and effective client interaction ability
  • Desired skills include an understanding of networking such as switching, routing, firewalls.
  • Produce and maintain excellent documentation.
  • Good communication oral and written skills
  • Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
  • Proficient with backup and restore technologies and best practices.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+years’ experience in related IT infrastructure
  • Network Certification desired but not required.
  • 3+years Network Engineering experience required
