About the Role

The Product Manager for Transaction banking & Strategy will be responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing cash management solutions for corporate clients. This role ensures the product portfolio meets client needs, complies with regulatory requirements, and supports the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

Define and execute the product roadmap for cash management services (payments, collections, cross border payments and virtual accounts).- Identify market trends, client needs, and competitive offerings to drive innovation.- Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement digital solutions.

Lifecycle Management

Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, including pricing, profitability, andperformance monitoring.- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Client Engagement

Work closely with Relationship Managers to understand client requirements.- Support client pitches and provide product expertise during onboarding.

Risk & Compliance

Ensure products adhere to AML, KYC, and regulatory standards.- Conduct periodic reviews to mitigate operational and financial risks.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Coordinate with Operations, IT, Legal, and Compliance for product implementation.- Drive training and awareness programs for internal teams.

Sales Management

Support development and implementation of sales strategies for Business Banking.

Assist in resolving escalated client issues.

Prepare product-related sales forecasts and performance reports.

Analyze data to identify growth opportunities.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of cash management products (payments, liquidity, virtualaccounts).- Understanding of corporate banking operations and regulatory frameworks.- Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.- Familiarity with digital banking platforms and APIs is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).- 5+ years of experience in transaction banking or product management.- Proven track record in developing and managing banking products.

KPIs

Product revenue growth and profitability.- Client adoption and satisfaction scores.- Compliance and risk management adherence.- Successful delivery of product enhancements and digital initiatives.

Future Trends & Digital Transformation Focus

Embrace API-driven banking to enable seamless integration with client systems.- Develop real-time payment capabilities to support instant fund transfers.- Leverage AI and machine learning for predictive cash flow forecasting and anomalydetection.- Promote digital onboarding and self-service capabilities for enhanced client experience.JR
