Assistant Service Engineer

Overview

Assist Service Engineers in the installation, servicing, and repair of ACMV systems, chillers, and other mechanical equipment. Support preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, checking, and minor adjustments to system components. Carry out routine inspections under guidance to detect potential faults or performance issues. Help troubleshoot and repair system faults by preparing tools, parts, and materials required for service work. Maintain accurate records of service and repair activities, including checklists and work reports. Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized during and after service activities. Provide basic technical support to clients, escalating issues to senior engineers when needed. Follow company safety procedures, regulations, and industry best practices at all times. Assist in testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired systems. Stay updated through training and hands-on learning to build technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience in ACMV servicing / maintenance preferred (fresh graduates or trainees with technical background are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of ACMV systems, electrical / mechanical equipment, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to learn, take instructions, and support senior engineers.
• Good teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Physically fit to handle equipment, tools, and fieldwork
