SENIOR TRUCK MECHANIC

We are seeking an experienced Senior Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team at SAKTHY TRANSPORT SDN. BHD. in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

What you’ll be doing

• Familiar with Volvo,Scania and Nissan Quester commercial vehicle repair.
• Familiar with trailer repair.
• Able to perform engine and gearbox overhaul.
• Ability to repair and reuse air components to minimize cost.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanics and technicians to ensure all maintenance and repair tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Carry out periodic inspections of vehicles and identify any issues that require attention.
• Oversee the maintenance schedule and ensure all vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Liaise with the operations team to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure the fleet is well-maintained.
