Job description

Responsibilities

  • General Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing.
  • Repairs : Fix doors, windows, furniture, and other fixtures as needed.
  • Event Setup and Breakdown : Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment.
  • Safety Inspections : Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Emergency Response : Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and ensure quick resolution.
  • Inventory Management : Maintain an inventory of tools and supplies, and order new materials as needed.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth operations during events.
  • Provide assistance to guests and address any maintenance-related inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

  • SPM or equivalent
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
  • The role requires working on weekends, public holidays or evenings depending on event schedules
