Job Description
- Responsible for the central region sales function, which account for 50% of the retail sales
- Lead 5 sales associates to achieve sales KPI in the region.
- Develop local sales plan to build sales volume and outlet expansion, while maintain a good business relationship between Direct account and W / S.
- Identify key business opportunity and new business expansion opportunity tru a serious of fact finding analysis, account development plan, selling skills development.
Sales Strategy Development
Develop and implement regional strategic sales plans for the retail channel to achieve revenue and market share targets.Account Management
Manage and nurture relationships with key retail accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Channel Expansion
Identify and evaluate opportunities for channel expansion within the retail sector, know-how on detail territory analysis and expansion plan strategy, and persuasive selling for expansion on new outlets.Team Leadership
Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.Market Analysis
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the retail channel.Promotional Activities
Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute retail-specific promotional activities, product launches, and campaigns.Performance Monitoring
Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the performance of the retail channel, making data-driven decisions for improvement.Training and Development
Provide training and development programs for the sales team to enhance their skills in retail channel management.Budget Management
Manage and allocate budgets effectively to support sales initiatives and promotional activities within the retail channelWholesaler & Distributor Management
Manage relationships and business development with WS / distributor management skillset.Job Requirements
Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in sales management, territory management, min 7 years in team management position.Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team, with direct sales team management experience, not too high level which distance himself with the direct sales team.Budget management and strong business & financial acumen.Strong strategic planning and execution.Data driven decision making and strong business analytical skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Good repo building skills with large numbers of dealers in the region.At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
