We’re looking for a Sales Manager with strong FMCG experience to join our team. This is not a typical “big team” role — it’s designed for someone who is ready to take ownership, work independently, and drive growth hands-on. It’s an excellent opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager in FMCG who is ready to step up into a management role with more autonomy and responsibility.

Why This Role?

You’ll handle end-to-end sales execution : listings, trading terms, trade promotions, and distributor management — no middle layers.

You’ll get the chance to shape the brand’s presence in Malaysia, driving modern trade, key accounts, and distribution directly.

You’ll work independently — this is a single contributor role, so it suits someone who is confident managing accounts, solving problems, and moving things forward without needing constant support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Modern Trade & Key Account Management

Secure listings, negotiate trading terms, and manage promotional activities with key retailers.

  • Develop and execute joint business plans with strong ROI tracking.
  • Build strong partnerships with distributors to improve coverage, discipline, and performance.
  • Conduct regular market visits to track execution and gather insights.
  • Trade Marketing & Promotions
  • Plan and implement trade promotions and campaigns aligned with business objectives.

  • Ensure strong in-store presence, visibility, and compliance with planograms.
  • Business Development
  • Identify new opportunities across channels and expand distribution footprint.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and competitor insights.
  • Job Requirements

  • Must-have : At least 5 years’ FMCG experience in sales, business development, or key account management.
  • Familiar with listing procedures, trading terms, and trade promo requirements .
  • Experience working directly with retail buyers and distributors .
  • Proven track record of managing modern trade or GT accounts with hands-on execution.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Highly independent, proactive, and self-motivated — comfortable working alone but capable of cross-functional collaboration.
