Ensures the effective use of material, equipment and personnel in producing quality products.
Maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, and methods
Has primary supervisory responsibility directly or through designated lead personnel for an assigned production area. Performs administrative responsibilities including performance evaluations, training in safety and use of tools and equipment, motivation, counseling and disciplining of employees supervised. Exercises judgment in planning and organizing work; monitors performance and reports status. Uses best business practices to ensure success in areas of responsibility and to achieve increased productivity.
Trains staff in the proper use of tools and equipment. Ensures employee compliance with CRM / Abbott policies, practices and procedures and regulatory as well as good manufacturing practices / International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements.
Attends and participates in management meetings to verify build schedules, priorities, quotas and other relevant issues. Conducts meetings with subordinates to communicate and address issues pertaining to the department’s operation. Informs management of any problems and provides the status of specific problem resolutions.
Monitors inventory levels and ensure that all supplies, tools and needed components are readily available. Orders replacement materials as required.
Investigates and resolves discrepancies regarding shortages, mixed parts, incorrect counts and establishes procedures to minimize subsequent errors.
Maintains appropriate records / documentation and ensures that they are current / correct.
Number and list any important but non-essential and / or infrequent duties performed
May be responsible for processes across organizational lines and assemble new products to verify tooling and techniques are appropriate.
Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

Able to work in shift pattern for 24 hours shift and standing long hours
With minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing operation.
A degree in Electrical / Mechanical Technology, Manufacturing Technology or another pertinent discipline or comparable specialized training in and working knowledge of the manufacture of implantable medical devices or equivalent.
Complete knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the job, including the ability to set up and operate standard and specialized inspection instruments.
Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs (e.g., Excel, Word, or equivalent) and applications used in high technology manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and basic math skills.
Familiarity with applicable good manufacturing practices (QSR / ISO) and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
Able to experience working in an air-conditioned clean-room manufacturing environment.
