Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist clients with their tax compliance obligations
  • Preparing clients’ corporate and individual tax return
  • Assist clients with resolution of tax issues with the Tax Authority
  • Attend to enquiries on technical issues from other departments within the Company
  • Assist senior tax colleagues / subordinates on tax technical and compliance matters
  • Anticipate and identify risks and elevate issues accordingly

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • At least a University’s Bachelor’s Degree and / or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics or equivalent
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed
  • Candidates with 1 year of experience in the tax field will have an added advantage
  • Proficiency in English is essential

    • OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Service-oriented and commercially focused
  • Strong drive to excel professionally and to guide and motivate others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
