Job Description
- Develop lesson plans for day-to-day teaching activities and establish learning objectives for the day based on curriculum plans and guidelines provided.
- Support the centre's daily duties in relation to the overall operations of the centre.
- Conduct classroom sessions for assigned level. Works hand-in-hand with the teaching team in regards to the children in their class.
- Manage class record updates, child's portfolio and communication via an internal platform.
- Monitor, record and provide feedback of a child’s learning growth progress through classroom assessment, evaluation.
- Ensure safety and emotional well-being of the children are properly cared for.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and the teaching team.
- Guide and mentorin Support English Teachers.
- Manage logistics planning for non-curriculum activities (e.g. field trips) and festive activities.
- Attend mandatory trainings and professional development courses when needed.
Job Requirements
Early Childhood Education certificate holders preferred. However, keen applicants from a different industry but with at least ONE (1) year of prior working experience in the early childhood education industry are also encouraged to apply.Good understanding of child development and learning needs with the ability to engage with children between the ages of 1.5 - 6 years.Good interpersonal and communication skills, creative, proactive, and have a positive learning attitude.Preferred skills : Classroom set-up, preparation, and routine management skills, basic first aid knowledge.Seniority level
