Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse (Catheterization Laboratory)

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the smooth running of the unit.
• To ensure the implementation of safe nursing care via ongoing supervision and involvement in administrative duties.
• To ensure and have a good working knowledge of all statutory requirements of the Nursing Board of Malaysia and any other legislation related to the work.
• To ensure compliance with established department / unit policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, environmental safety and infection control standards in line with the organization’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
• To ensure the provision and maintenance of a risk‑free working environment in terms of infections and accidents for both patients and others.
• To provide comprehensive care to wholly compensatory patients and their dependents.
• To monitor patients closely and be able to recognize and alert any change in a patient’s condition at all times.
• To ensure staff are competent in dealing with an emergency situation.
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Nursing Supervisor or HODs.
