Overview
We are a leading player in the Oil Mills Manufacturing industry seeking a diligent and analytical Account / Finance Executive to strengthen our finance and accounts team. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
- Perform detailed cost accounting activities, including analysis of production costs, yield variances, and overhead allocation.
- Assist in the coordination of the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Cost & Management Accounting
Perform detailed cost accounting, including analysis of production costs, yield variances, and overhead allocation.Monitor and analyze costs related to raw materials (oilseeds) and logistics.Conduct thorough variance analysis (Standard vs. Actual costs) for the oil milling process and report on operational efficiency.Calculate product profitability and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Compliance & Operational Support
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.Liaise with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Sales) to provide financial data and support business decisions.Manage and oversee accounts receivable / payable / General Ledger functions and cash flow monitoring.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.A minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role, with a strong preference for candidates from a manufacturing, FMCG, or oil mills industry background.Partially qualified ACCA or CIMA candidate. Your progress is highly valued, and we support further professional development.Solid understanding of management accounting, cost accounting principles, and financial reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Computer Literacy
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory (PivotTables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, complex formulas for data analysis).High proficiency in Microsoft Word for report preparation and Microsoft Outlook for professional communication.Hands-on experience with an Auto count system is a significant advantage.Interpersonal & Professional Skills
