Overview : Working exclusively with our client, a global market leading extrusion manufacturer, we are looking for an Operations & Project Manager with technical extrusion background to join their established team.

Role :

  • The Operations Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within operations.
  • In the role of Operations Project Manager you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
  • As Operations Project Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Maintenance and Quality departments with direct line management for the teams.
  • Plan, execute and monitor projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans including timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments where necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

    • Experience Requirements :

  • Degree Qualification in Engineering or Operations Management or Business Administration or related experience.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Project Management Qualification an advantage.
  • MUST HAVE technical knowledge and experience within plastic extrusion.
  • Knowledge of industry specific regulations and standards.
  • Project Management experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment.
  • Lamination technical knowledge an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
