- Ensure that the financial statements for the legal entity is prepared within the stated deadlines
- Ensure credit management procedures is complied with
- Review and monitor key financial indicators to ensure reaching target

Your Key Responsibilities
Accounting, Audit & Controlling
Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the Finance DepartmentCoordinate with Shared Service Center on operational and monthly closing activitiesEnsure that the financial statements for the legal entity is prepared within the stated deadlines with accuracyEnsure credit management procedures is complied withEnsure payment from customers are received by due date for accuracy of cash flow planningEnsure all payment to suppliers are process timely by Shared Service Centre following the established guidelinesEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws and company policiesMaintain proper documentation and filing of financial recordsCoordinate with statutory auditors for necessary procedures to complete year end closingAssist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisSupport management with financial data and analysis, highlighting major deviations and impact on overall businessTaxation
Coordinate with tax agent for corporate tax computation, GST and corporate tax return submission and tax paymentEnsure proper and timely submission of tax returns and fulfil withholding tax obligation to IRASTreasury and Miscellaneous
Monitor cash flow and credit facility utilisationHandle liquidity planning & foreign currency hedging as per group reporting timeline and requirementCoordinate with internal and external stakeholder on all banking related arrangementYour Qualifications
Degree in accounting or qualified accountant, 4-6 years experiences (with some years in a distribution or trading business)Proficiency in accounting software (eg. SAP ERP system), Window & Microsoft applications especially MS Excel.Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP / IFRS) as well as knowledge in Finance & TaxationStrong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skillsGood analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesAs a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
