Recruitment Specialist / HR with IT Recruitment Experience (Mandarin Required)
Location : Malaysia (Fully Remote but based in Malaysia)
Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

We are seeking an experienced recruiter with a background in staffing for client‑site deployment models. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in attracting and hiring professionals who, while being on our company’s payroll and under our contract, will perform their day‑to‑day duties exclusively at our client’s premises.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Recruitment Officer with a strong background in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. The successful candidate will manage the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for our positions in Malaysia from a remote setting. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication with stakeholders across the region. A strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and HRDF) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Full‑Cycle Recruitment : Manage the entire recruitment process for various positions, from job posting and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Sourcing & Strategy : Utilize various channels (job portals, social media like LinkedIn, networking, referrals) to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Screening & Interviewing : Conduct initial resume screenings, phone / video interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Stakeholder Management : Partner closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and provide regular updates on recruitment status.
- Candidate Experience : Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the remote recruitment process.
- Compliance & Onboarding : Ensure all hiring practices comply with local Malaysian employment laws. Manage the pre‑employment verification process and facilitate a smooth remote onboarding experience for new hires.
- Local Statutory Compliance & Government Liaison : Serve as the primary expert on labor laws and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS), ensuring 100% compliance for our operations. Act as the key liaison and manage all interactions with government bodies at their local branches and headquarters, including KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN, and the Labor Department (JTK) in Kuala Lumpur.
- Administrative Representation in Malaysia : Function as the company’s on‑the‑ground representative for office administrative affairs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience : 3‑8 years of proven experience as an HR Specialist, Recruiter, or Talent Acquisition Specialist with IT hiring experience.Ideal Candidate Profile : A significant portion of our open roles are for IT engineers. Prior experience and a proven track record in successfully recruiting for either SAP or IT positions is highly preferred.Language Skills : Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.Remote Work Suitability : Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a fully remote environment. Must be highly self‑disciplined, organized, and results‑oriented.Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers remotely.Tech‑Savvy : Comfortable using video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams), HR software, and other collaborative platforms.Seniority Level
