Job Description - Senior Warehouse Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of records.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance of warehouse team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure all inventory updates and record movements are properly scanned and uploaded into the system (RSSQL).
  • Conduct regular quality checks on storage conditions, carton integrity, and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Delivery Team, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Manage records destruction process in line with company compliance and audit requirements.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to warehouse staff on safety, security, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and company security policies.
  • Report operational issues, risks, and team performance updates to Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse to optimize productivity and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma is an advantage.
  • At least 3–5 years of working experience in warehouse / records management, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Physically fit to handle warehouse activities (lifting, moving boxes up to 20kg, climbing racks / ladders).
  • Computer literacy with experience in inventory systems (e.g., RSSQL or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety, security, and compliance practices in warehouse operations.
