Business Development Manager (Contract Logistic) – Malaysia

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for contract logistics? Toll Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market presence in Malaysia. You will be a hunter who identifies and secures new contract logistics business, with a proven track record in sales and deep industry knowledge to develop strategic partnerships and exceed revenue goals.

What You'll Do :

  • Strategize for Growth : Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on securing long-term contract logistics agreements.
  • Hunt for Opportunities : Actively seek out and acquire new business leads and customers, specializing in warehousing, distribution, and value-added logistics services.
  • Build Lasting Relationships : Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention by serving as their primary point of contact for all logistics solutions.
  • Collaborate for Success : Partner with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to guarantee seamless service delivery for contract logistics clients.
  • Track Your Success : Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and your sales pipeline.

What You'll Need to Succeed :

  • Industry Expertise : 8–10 years of proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in contract logistics or freight forwarding.
  • A Hunter Mentality : Strong background in field sales with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proven Track Record : History of successful sales achievements and new business acquisition.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent command of English, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients.
