Reliability Engineer (Machinery)

As a progressive oil company in Malaysia, we aspire towards a sustainable energy-secured nation where everyone’s journey is fueled by opportunities for meaningful experiences   Responsibilities : Performs the monitoring of refinery machinery equipment, under the general direction of the superior to ensure continued safe and reliable operation of equipment.

Investigates rotating equipment failures and checks compliance to established standards of practices and issues reports and recommends repair / corrective actions to equipment.

Development and custodian of Machinery Equipment Strategies for fixed equipment.

Analyze and troubleshoot rotating equipment failures, special corrosion or material problems, issue reports and recommendations for corrective actions.

Risk Assessment related to Machinery Equipment.

Ensuring consistent RA application for safe operations.

Development of Machinery Annual Maintenance Plan and 5 Year Plan.

Machinery Reliability Performance Improvement : Analyze and report Machinery Reliability performance metrics / KPI.

Development of project deliverables for Machinery related projects.

Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or other relevant disciplines with CGPA >

3.00.

Preferably 7 to 10 years’ experience in refinery industry.

Good interpersonal and people management skills for both lateral and upward interfaces in the company.

Must be willing to work in Petron Port Dickson Refinery, Negeri Sembilan.
