Job description

Overview

  • Provide technical expertise to support IT infrastructure especially in network support
  • Apply expert technical knowledge to administer one or more technology areas in system design, build and administration, security, performance and availability management.
  • A broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives.
  • Integrates technical knowledge and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and for customers.
  • Contribute to quality and productivity improvement projects, providing analysis of information and documentation.
  • Understand a customer's complex organizational structure and support processes, with multiple regions, countries, sites, contact points, processes, people, cultures, etc.
  • Ability to become proficient in new technologies and business applications.
  • Provide training and documentation on area of expertise and new technology.

Required Work Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience within IT operations of infrastructure services support, operations monitoring and end user support.
  • Professional certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Aruba, Check Point, Fortinet, Zscaler, Azure, AWS or Project Management certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication in Japanese at least certified with JLPT N2 or BJT J2 (advantage).
  • Excellent understanding of ITSM / ITIL processes, preferably ITIL trained.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Independent and able to work with less or no supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing and work under high pressure environment
  • Work flexibly based on business requirement
