Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Group Accountant located at our Petaling Jaya office. The Group Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports or statements, and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. The role also involves coordinating and completing annual audits, improving systems and procedures, and liaising with auditors.

Qualifications

• Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis skills
• Experience with Audits, Compliance, and Taxation
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Experience in a multinational company or group environment is beneficial
