IT Procurement Specialist

Job Description

Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with established service levels and KPIs.

Drive the quotation process by defining evaluation criteria, identifying and selecting suppliers, executing the evaluation process, and refining and validating sourcing and purchasing options.

Manage buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the procurement process.

Prepare and present reports to management, analyzing metrics and projection results to inform decision‑making.

Demonstrate urgency and deliver tasks on time, even under tight deadlines.

Apply and optimize procurement processes, automating where feasible, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Analyze data, design systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize technology performance.

Programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript), software development, database management, networking, and cybersecurity.

Participate in interdisciplinary working groups and project work to gather insights, influence outcomes, and enhance internal processes and procedures.

Recommend process improvements and develop tools aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function.

Your Profile

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.

Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage for this role.

Work experience 3-5 years.

Relevant experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and software development.

Proficiency in data analysis, database management, and data visualization tools.

Experience with procurement software and tools, including SAP, Ariba, and other automation tools.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficient in utilizing procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing processes and data management.
