Job description

We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our small team at La Molly Cafe, a local, pet-friendly café known for good food, relaxed vibes, and welcoming both people and their pets.

About the Role :

You’ll be running the kitchen day-to-day—preparing breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, managing stock, and helping shape the menu. We’re after someone who’s confident cooking solo during quieter shifts and can also work smoothly with the front-of-house team when it gets busy.

Responsibilities

Run the kitchen day-to-day : preparing breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes
Keep the kitchen clean and organised
Manage stock
Help shape the menu
Work confidently solo during quieter shifts and collaborate with the front-of-house team during busy periods

Qualifications

At least 2 years' experience in a café or similar kitchen

Solid cooking skills and good food presentation

Reliable, organised, and able to manage time well

Must have a valid Food Safety Certificate

Comfortable working in a space where pets are always around
