Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Strategise and drive transformation and change management initiatives to ensure institutional agility, operational excellence, and alignment with UTP’s strategic priorities and evolving organisational needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Shape the design and implementation of university-wide transformation strategies that support UTP’s long-term goals. This includes identifying key areas for improvement, aligning transformation efforts with strategic plans, and ensuring initiatives are executed effectively across divisions.
Change Management Framework & Support
Establish and maintain a structured change management framework to guide organisational transitions. Provide tools, training, and advisory support to departments undergoing change, ensuring staff are equipped to adapt to new systems, structures, and processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Facilitate transparent and inclusive communication throughout transformation efforts. Engage with internal stakeholders including academic, administrative, and support units to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster a culture of collaboration and resilience.
Monitoring & Impact Assessment
Track the progress and impact of transformation initiatives using defined metrics and feedback mechanisms. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and governance bodies, and recommend adjustments to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with institutional goals.
Capacity Building & Change Readiness
Oversee the development of training programmes and resources that build institutional capacity for change. Ensure staff are supported through workshops, engagement sessions, and access to guidance materials that promote readiness and confidence during transitions
