Job descriptionMust possess at least a Diploma / Degree or relevant qualification in Business Administration or any other related field. Demonstrate a positive attitude and have proactive mindset. A team player and able to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the manufacturing field. Well verse with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using procurement / supply chain management ERP software and tools, preferably SAP. Result-oriented, attention to detail, systematic, responsible, sense of ownership, and high ability to work under pressure in fast changing working environment. Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a multicultural work environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct and controls company purchases.
- Responsible for the purchasing of all raw materials and equipment to ensure continuity of supply chain.
- Identify and process purchase requisitions raised by departments follow up with issue of purchase orders to relevant vendors.
- Follow up with vendors on order confirmation and delivery schedule.
- Update and maintain suppliers and purchase records database to the SAP system.
- Monitor on the performance of all external providers to ensure their products and services are meeting to requirements.
- Work with the planner and sales & marketing team on the forecast and supply requirements.
- Source for alternative external providers that are available in the market to support operations.
- Performing any other duties assigned from time to time.
