Job Descriptions :
1. Financial Planning & Reporting
- Responsible for the hotel‘s overall accounting and financial management requirements.
- To prepare, review and submit management reports in a timely manner, and ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Prepare and review annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and operating results.
- Lead and facilitate the achievement of hotel’s annual goals and targets to ensure profitability and revenue growth.
- Evaluate pricing strategies and provide financial insights to optimize revenue streams.
- Manage working capital and cash flow; analyze financial data and market trends to produce accurate forecasts that maximize value.
- Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership in regular meetings.
2. Internal Controls & Compliance
Implement appropriate controls to manage business and financial risks. Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, enhance operations, and improve profitability. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, local policies, and regulatory requirements.Oversee audits and ensure that any financial discrepancies are identified and addressed promptly.3. Team Leadership & Development
Mentor and develop the finance team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, & General Ledger (GL), fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement and high efficiency.Ensures employees establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships within their team.Identify and implement systems or tools suitable for improving team efficiency.Any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to timeJob Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller; experience in the hotel / hospitality industry preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using hotel accounting software such as Q3 Financial Cloud, Opera, and Material Control (MC).Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
