Job Descriptions :

1.      Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Responsible for the hotel‘s overall accounting and financial management requirements.
  • To prepare, review and submit management reports in a timely manner, and ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and review annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and operating results.
  • Lead and facilitate the achievement of hotel’s annual goals and targets to ensure profitability and revenue growth.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies and provide financial insights to optimize revenue streams.
  • Manage working capital and cash flow; analyze financial data and market trends to produce accurate forecasts that maximize value.
  • Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership in regular meetings.

2.      Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Implement appropriate controls to manage business and financial risks. Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, enhance operations, and improve profitability. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, local policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee audits and ensure that any financial discrepancies are identified and addressed promptly.
  • 3.      Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and develop the finance team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, & General Ledger (GL), fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement and high efficiency.
  • Ensures employees establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships within their team.
  • Identify and implement systems or tools suitable for improving team efficiency.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time
  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller; experience in the hotel / hospitality industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using hotel accounting software such as Q3 Financial Cloud, Opera, and Material Control (MC).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
