Company Background :
We are representing our client who is in the steel manufacturing industry. As part of our client's ongoing ERP system implementation, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service (Assistant Officer) to support order processing and customer coordination tasks. This role is suitable for junior candidates who are systematic, customer-focused, and eager to learn within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Location : Jenjarom, Selangor or Sungai Bakap, Penang.
Job Responsibility :
- Assist in processing customer orders accurately using the ERP system.
- Support daily coordination with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Update customers on order status, delivery schedules, and any delays.
- Support customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Maintain and update accurate records and generate reports related to orders and deliveries.
- Support testing, training, and data entry tasks related to the ERP system rollout.
- Work with other departments to improve customer service processes.
Job Requirements :
Minimum qualification of SPM / Diploma / Degree in any field will be an added advantage.2-3 years of experience in customer service, order processing or sales support within the manufacturing industry.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) will be very advantageous.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).Willing to spend extra time to complete tasks.Benefits :
