Job Description
As Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading a regional team to achieve ambitious targets. This is a true hunter role – you will actively seek out opportunities, build strong relationships, and sniff out leads in the market to convert them into long‑term business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional strategies to grow market share across Southeast Asia, balancing mature markets with high‑potential emerging regions.
- Lead and mentor a team of Regional and Area Sales Managers, fostering collaboration and high performance while ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Drive new business development by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and converting prospects into long‑term customers.
- Manage key accounts strategically, ensuring strong partnerships and maximizing share of wallet through tailored solutions.
- Oversee contract compliance across legal, financial, and technical dimensions to safeguard company interests and customer satisfaction.
- Support pricing and negotiation processes, providing commercial insight and ensuring competitive yet profitable outcomes.
- Expand and optimize agent networks, evaluating performance and strengthening coverage in priority markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Support and Project Management, to deliver seamless execution and customer success.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, including order intake, revenue, and pipeline health, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Represent the company externally, attending strategic meetings and industry events to enhance visibility and influence.
- Travel extensively (approx. 80‑100 days annually) to engage with customers, agents, and internal stakeholders across the region.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a seasoned commercial leader with strong technical and industry expertise. Key requirements include :
Proven track record in capital equipment sales within food processing or related industrial sectors.Demonstrated success in leading regional teams and managing complex, multi‑country operations.Background in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.Strong strategic thinking and ability to deliver results in competitive markets.Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Willingness to travel extensively and work across diverse cultures.What’s on Offer
