About the Role
Delivery Manager role focused on designing solutions with a solution architect and Project Managers to ensure successful delivery of the project. The role drives business initiatives for cloud applications while aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
To be Azure Cloud Application Delivery Manager :
- Managing offshore delivery teams
- Leading the solution design with the delivery teams
- Driving business initiatives to completion within time and budget per SLA
Responsibilities
Serve as Azure subject matter expert to deliver and manage cloud-based applications for Group Investment :Analyze and evaluate business requirements.Manage and guide technical project resources.Lead the project team to propose and design total solutions.Manage project activities and project artifacts.Manage all architecture and security related reviews and assessment processes to meet policy / standard requirements.Manage the acquisition, installation, testing and deployment activities in accordance to Group Office policies and standards.Manage internal and external service providers to meet agreed service levels.Conduct periodic reporting to the project workstreams and stakeholders.Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor as required.Communication Requirements
Internal :
Works with all users from LBU and Group Investment, Group Security, Group Application, TSS China, ITM and LBU technical teams on application project mattersLiaises with necessary AIA colleagues to ensure delivery of the functional work as required.External :
Work with external suppliers of system deploy in the projects.Raise requests to vendors and follow up on progress.Liaises with vendors on project matters.Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or other relevant discipline.10 years related experience in a technical lead capacity, preferably in Financial Industries with proven track record.5 years working experience in cloud-based DataMart and reporting solutions.Experience using ITSM tools will be an added advantage.Certifications / licenses
PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent.Fundamental certifications in Azure, Data or AI Certifications are preferred.Additional certifications in solution architecture and other cloud certifications are a big plus.Technical skills
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure portalKnowledge in Java, .Net, JSON, Visual Basic is a plus.Well-versed in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Prior experience Informatica, Snowflake, Alteryx is an added advantage.Special skills
In-depth business and application knowledge on IT and operations, preferably from Investment / Asset Management industry.Ability to formulate business requirements into technical functional solutions.Good understanding of the latest technological trends and cloud technologies.Good communication and presentation skills.Resourceful, independent and result oriented.Proactive and can-do attitude.Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live healthier, longer, better lives.
