Job descriptionPlan and manage future staffing needs. Interview, select, and recruit team members. Identify and develop high-potential team members, mentor and train for career progression. Conduct regular performance reviews with team members. Be fully conversant with hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures. Comply with hotel and departmental policies at all times. Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by Management. Take prompt action to correct hazardous situations and report potential risks. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the General Manager, as deemed necessary and relevant to the role.
Operations
- Responsible for the overall operations, staffing, and equipment of the Maintenance & Safety Department.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure all pertinent information is communicated to team members.
- Supervise and manage the department's daily activities.
- Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide training on current safety issues to ensure compliance with local laws and safety regulations.
