Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance for end-users across the organization. This role is on a contract basis (
minimum 6 months
) and requires proficiency in both English and Malay for effective support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, printers, and basic networking issues.
- Support software and hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Handle service requests and incident tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain documentation of IT assets, incidents, and solutions.
- Assist in basic user training for IT tools and applications.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security guidelines.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).1–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support.Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking (LAN / Wi-Fi).Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PCs, printers, and connectivity issues.Good communication skills in English and Malay (spoken & written).Customer-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.Able to commit to at least a 6-month contract.
