Design lightning protection system for solar PV farm and / or associated buildings
Design network schematic diagram and oversees Proof of Concept where necessary
Design secondary circuit including protection relays, metering, auxiliary power, indication & control
Design layouts, SLDs, and termination drawings for commercial, industrial, and utility projects involving solar PV, Battery Energy Storage System, EV Charger as well as their related auxiliaries
Perform testing on m2m communication via various open protocols
Perform testing of control and indication via electrical signals
Support internal team on design of medium & high voltage system
Support internal team on high fault level issue
Support internal team on relay protection coordination
Support internal team on power quality issues before and after PV installation
Support internal team on configuration of communication devices either remotely or on-site
Support internal team on TNB SCADA requirement, including liaising with utility provider
Support internal team on Interconnection Facility requirement, including liaising with utility provider and authorities, drawing reviews, testing & commissioning, and site work if necessary
Communicate internally with project team and externally with suppliers / contractors / consultants to facilitate design requirement
Be familiarised with MS and IEC standards as basis of design principle
Plan, develop, and execute idea, engineering solution, or other value-added items in line with company road map
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
One year experience in BESS, electrical secondary system and HV 132kV-275kV electrical power design
Has valid car driving licence
Good command of speaking and writing in English and Malay
