As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead production teams to ensure operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will drive productivity improvements, support continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork within TE Connectivity’s manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and drive performance on key metrics (OEE, yield, scrap, delivery, and cost).
  • Lead, train, and develop operators and technicians to build high-performing teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and planning teams to resolve production issues.
  • Drive 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement culture on the shop floor.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of production data and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics / automotive preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma practices is an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Flexible to support shift operations if required.
