The Senior Accountant - Korean Speaker will play a vital role in managing and overseeing accounting processes within the industrial / manufacturing industry. This position requires strong accounting expertise and fluency in Korean to support regional operations effectively.

The hiring company is a large organization within the industrial / manufacturing sector, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee accounting functions for assigned clusters within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Coordinate with regional teams to support accounting processes and resolve discrepancies.
Perform monthly and yearly financial closing activities and reconciliations.
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
Assist in audits and provide necessary financial data to auditors.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Utilize Korean language skills to communicate effectively with regional counterparts.

Profile / Qualifications

Educational Bachelor degree or diploma is required. Candidates in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

3-4 years of hands-on experience in RTR processes and external audit experience are preferred.

Fluency in Korean, both written and spoken, to support regional operations. Native Korean speakers are welcome to apply; TOPIK Level 4 and above is preferred for local Malaysians.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Experience in managing accounting processes in the industrial / manufacturing sector is an advantage.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Job Offer

Competitive salary package in the range of MYR 108,000 - MYR 132,000 annually.
