Job description

We are a rapidly growing healthcare group operating multiple clinics across Klang Valley.

You’ll lead the company’s finance function, manage a small team, and drive automation using Xero, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools to deliver real-time visibility, reliable forecasting, and on-time reporting.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone ready to take full ownership of numbers, systems, and strategic financial control with a AP and AR reporting to you.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-set accounts, consolidating results from all clinics and business units.
  • Deliver accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SST, tax, and statutory regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks to ensure smooth annual closing and filings.

Cash‑Flow & Budget Control

  • Maintain a rolling 12‑month cash‑flow forecast with weekly updates.
  • Track AR / AP aging and highlight collection or payment risks proactively.
  • Work closely with the Board on budgeting, cost control, and capital planning.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and oversee loan applications and facilities.
  • Process Improvement, Automation & AI

  • Audit existing workflows and identify manual, error‑prone steps.
  • Design and implement accounting process automation using tools such as Power Query, Power BI , or AI‑based reconciliation and forecasting solutions.
  • Build automated dashboards and reporting tools for real‑time financial visibility.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for monthly closing, approvals, and reconciliations to ensure scalability and accuracy.
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Conduct budget vs actual variance analysis, profitability by clinic, and ROI evaluations.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for the CEO and leadership team.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, cost optimization initiatives, and expansion modeling.
  • Lead and mentor 2 finance executives (AR / AP & finance assistant).
  • Build a performance‑driven culture with clear deliverables and accountability.
  • Upskill team members in digital tools, automation workflows, and AI‑driven finance processes.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; ACCA / CPA / MIA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance (multi‑branch / service industry preferred).
  • Hands‑on with Xero, advanced Excel, Power BI , or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in accounting process automation and applying AI tools for finance workflows (e.g., reconciliations, invoice processing, forecasting).
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Track record of improving finance processes, implementing new systems, and ensuring timely reporting.
  • Excellent command of English and strong communication skills with senior management.
