Job description

HR Framework & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s HR policies, employee handbook, and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Act as the point of contact for audits (e.g. Safety Officer audit, regulatory compliance).

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and exit processes.
  • Manage payroll processing using UBS (with potential migration to Autocount), ensuring accuracy in statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
  • Handle HR administration such as employee records, contracts, and HRIS / data management.
  • Performance Management & Engagement

  • Design and implement the annual performance appraisal framework (to be conducted every December).
  • Support managers in setting KPIs, providing feedback, and developing staff performance.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Partner with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Establish foundational HR frameworks for recruitment, compensation & benefits, and training & development.
  • Provide advice to management on organizational structure and manpower planning.
