Job description

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsible for monitoring and coordinating the operational daily work.
  • Ensure that all documentation meets import & export and customs regulations
  • Ensure that all data entry and submission paperwork is complete and accurate
  • To comply with Customs regulations at all times
  • Update and provide trucking information to customers as well as to Management
  • Ensuring that the operations work-flow is delivered and meets the client's requirement
  • Responsible for the execution of import & export documentation requirements for shipments globally.
  • Dealing with suppliers and customers for orders and shipment arrangement
  • Handling assigned local and overseas communication.
  • To undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties specified by the Management as and when required
  • Prepare, submit, and process K1 and K2 declarations through the relevant customs systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma Professional Degree, in any field.
  • Required skill(s) : Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal), computer literate, positive and able to work independently under minimum supervision, and good attitude.
  • International appearance & pleasant personality.
  • Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • At least 2 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Setia Alam
  • Good knowledge of sea freight and airfreight shipment and consolidation
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in K1 / K2 declaration procedures will be an added advantage
