Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd. In Malaysia, Bosch is active in four business sectors : Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and soon a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors. In 2020, Bosch Malaysia generated consolidated sales of RM 518.4 million (108.1 million euros), and currently employs more than 4,000 associates.

PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

We are seeking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR partnering and Learning and Development (L&D) , with the ability to drive people strategies and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide HR guidance and solutions across the employee lifecycle
  • Lead and support overall Learning & Development programs to build capabilities and enhance organizational performance
  • Provide guidance and aid to business leaders and managers regarding strategic HR topics, encompassing areas like organizational structure revisions, talent management, competency, career advancement and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and design effective learning interventions
  • Responsible for internal and external audit for HR scope
  • Provide HR consultation, partnership and assistance to HR COE, HRS, Business Leaders and other relevant stakeholders in all corporate HR programs (including DEI) and related projects
  • Provide best in class recommendations and valued feedback to business leaders and other relevant stakeholders
  • Serve as business point of escalation for people and HR policy and process
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to strengthen employer branding, talent pipeline, university relation and talent retention
  • Partner with Employee Relations and Business on employee's Performance Improvement Plan and disciplinary
  • Partner with HR COE of Compensation and Benefits in total rewards, benchmarking and relevant initiatives related to market competitiveness
  • Education and Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Requirements :
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional HR experience.

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) or HR Generalist, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Learning & Development (L&D) or talent development programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, advisory and influencing skills
  • Thorough understanding and practical application of HR concepts, practices, tools, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, thrive in a high-energy environment, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve HR programs through feedback, monitoring, and observation.
  • Strong results-orientation and a proven track record of achieving objectives.
  • Capability to lead and drive HR initiatives and improvement projects
