Overview

Position : Senior Software Engineer – IT

Type : Contract (12 months, full-time, onsite)

Key Accountabilities :

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software per Dell’s system quality standards.
  • Analyze business needs and create effective software solutions.
  • Prepare technical and test documentation (design docs, test data, test cases, automation scripts).
  • Perform software testing, log defects, and validate corrections.
  • Recommend software / hardware solutions based on user requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
  • Conduct performance and scalability testing as required.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead small to moderate budget projects and mentor junior developers.
  • Manage project execution including schedules, cost, and documentation.
  • Estimate project efforts, track progress, and report results.
  • Execute test scripts, log and analyze defects, and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement in testing and development processes.
