Company Background

KOP Mantap Berhad is wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Malaysia Police Cooperative Berhad (KPDRM). Being an investment arm of KPDRM, KOP Mantap Berhad focus on investment, consulting and project implementation for revenue growth of KPDRM and strengthening the corporate image and human capital of the organization.

Currently the direction of the organisation is to diversify into other business industries. In line with our expansion plans, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead Finance Division for a better future.

Responsibilities :

• Participates in strategic development of the Group and provides financial advice on all key management decisions.
• Collaborates with the Group CEO, Subsidiaries GMs and Senior Management to set business targets, monitors achievement and reviews their appropriateness.
• Promotes Group initiatives related to common systems and controls; supports knowledge sharing across the Group.
• Ensures effective compliance and control within the Division; fosters a positive compliance culture for business improvement.
• Develops and implements corporate policies, goals, strategies and procedures; ensures Division adherence.
• Ensures statutory compliance and approval of all Division-related financial and non-financial reports.
• Guarantees timely, accurate, and relevant financial reporting aligned with statutory and regulatory standards.
• Promotes sound budgetary control practices across the Group.
• Oversees budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring alignment with business planning.
• Leads and manages all functions within the Division : Taxation, Finance & Management Accounting, Treasury, compliance, and reporting.
• Establishes financial requirements for the Group, manages funds and financing arrangements efficiently.
• Manages and advises on all financial risks to the Group.
• Maintains strong relationships with key financial institutions.
• Advises on and promotes good asset management practices : tagging, monitoring, acquisition and replacement.
• Ensures proper inventory management across the Group, including leading major inventory counts.
• Leads and manages the Group's tax planning and compliance.
• Conducts due diligence and internal inquiries as needed.
• Prepares financial models for evaluating business opportunities.
• Takes ownership of all financial matters within the Group.
• Prepares and presents financial results and issues to the Board and relevant committees.
• Handles ad-hoc assignments (investments, acquisitions, business development, contract reviews, etc.).
