Job descriptionDesign and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and panel layouts, in accordance with project and regulatory requirements. Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, load calculations, and technical specifications for approval and implementation. Conduct equipment selection, sizing, and configuration based on design requirements and safety standards. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design and safety specifications. Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Perform regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems; implement corrective actions for non-compliance or faults. Maintain up-to-date documentation including electrical layouts, reports, and project progress records. Provide timely technical support and solutions to site issues and assist in resolving engineering challenges. Recommend improvements for design efficiency, cost optimization, and reliability enhancement. Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with electrical standards and technologies.
