Job Title : Data Scientist
We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to support our product, sales, leadership and marketing teams by deriving actionable insights from company data. The ideal candidate excels at working with large data sets to uncover opportunities for product and process optimization and at using models to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies. They should be comfortable collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and driving business results through data‑based insights.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities to leverage data for business solutions.
- Mine and analyze company data to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategy.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and collection methods.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms tailored to specific data sets.
- Apply predictive modeling to improve customer experience, revenue, ad targeting, and other outcomes.
- Design and maintain an A / B testing framework and evaluate model quality.
- Coordinate implementation of models with functional teams and monitor outcomes.
- Create tools and processes for continuous monitoring and analysis of model performance and data integrity.
Requirements
Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on product development.Experience using statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate large data sets.Experience designing data architectures and working with data pipelines.Knowledge of machine‑learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.) and their practical trade‑offs.Proficiency in advanced statistical concepts (regression, distribution properties, hypothesis testing, etc.) and their application.Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑team collaboration.A drive to learn and master new technologies and methodologies.Desired Skills
5–7 years of experience building statistical models and working with large data sets.Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.Proficiency in coding languages such as C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.Experience with data mining and statistical techniques (GLM, random forest, boosting, text mining, social network analysis).Experience querying databases and using R / Python / SQL.Experience with cloud data services (Redshift, S3, Spark, etc.) and distributed computing tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MySQL).Experience visualizing and presenting data to stakeholders using tools such as D3, ggplot, or Business Objects.Employment Details
