The Sales Manager for Distribution (Retail Channel) is responsible for managing and expanding the company’s retail distribution network for construction chemical products in Malaysia. The incumbent will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives, while ensuring strong distributor and retailer engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the retail distribution channel to achieve assigned sales, revenue, and margin targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities through expansion of distributor and retail partner networks.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to management on a regular basis
- Manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and retail outlets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Negotiate and oversee distributor agreements, sales terms, and promotional activities.
- Monitor distributor stock levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability.
- Provide product and sales training to distributors and retail sales teams.
What we are looking for :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in construction chemicals, building materials, or related industries, with at least 3 years in managing distribution or retail channels.Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage distributor / retail partner relationships.Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s retail and distribution landscape.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CRM systems.Ability to travel frequently across Malaysia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
